| The
Plan!
The
innovation that has most contributed to the power and usefulness
of the Internet is the World Wide Web -- a protocol for sharing
multi-media documents across networks. Empowered by this innovation,
the Net crossed into a region of "critical mass" during
1996, the same year EzerNet was born. The Net became a self-sustaining
consumer phenomenon with an identity separate from educational
institutions and businesses that originated the concept of networking.
In the last four years, the Internet has gone through a lot of
evolution, from a purely information space to an interactive medium
previously not foreseen.
Such
drastic changes are projected to continue for many years to come.
Already, approximately half of all American households have access
to the Web, either at home or through the workplace. Increasing numbers
of businesses are coming to view the Net as their natural business
environment. Many see the Web as their only intended operating
environment. This is particularly true of information based businesses.
By late 1999, no less than half of all sales revenues of a giant
corporation like Dell computer (over $20 Million dollars per day
) were being generated online. As more and more people get wired,
this trend will expand.
At
EzerNet, our plan is to focus our energy into three interacting
business models that operate naturally in the Internet.
